The conference runs Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 8:45 AM until 2:45 PM.
From 9:30-10:30 Keynote speaker, Dave Wanninger, presents “Not Your Same Old, Same Old Garden Plants.”
Choose from an incredible 30 class options for your three personalized learning sessions. Would you like to make a fairy garden or grow beautiful roses? You can also learn about how to make your own beer, the benefits of plants on our minds and bodies, flower arranging, how to build a cold frame or how to grow gourds and use them for crafts. There is something for everyone!
During breaks, visit local vendors who’ve been working hard to offer you a vast variety of goods from hand-crafted foods, soaps, plants, crafts and more. Exciting door prizes are donated by each vendor and there will be many lucky winners!
Bring a gardening book or magazine to donate to the swap table. You do not need to donate an item to take an item!
This is an unbelievable value for only $10 with pre-registration (deadline March 10th to UW-Extension, Portage), $15 for walkins. Join us and prepare to be motivated! Rio HS FFA lunch will be available for $7.
