Taste of Portage Market Fair 2024
Join us in downtown Portage for summer fun!  The event will continue on Cook Street, DeWitt Street and at Market Square.
We will have live music, food, drinks, kid's activities, a classic car & truck show and craft vendors.

Taste of Portage Market Fair 2024
We are back on Cook Street!  The event will continue at Market Square and include Cook and DeWitt Street this year for the Car Show.  We will have live music, food, drinks, kid's activities, a classic car & truck show, craft vendors and a half marathon with a 5K. 

Events take place at Market Square Parking Lot at the corner of Hwy 33 and Adams Street and along Cook and DeWitt Street on Saturday.

FRIDAY NIGHT - AUGUST 23rd  
Activities at Market Square in downtown at the corner of Hwy 33 and Adams Street
- Music with Best Practice starting at 6PM
- Beer Tent 5PM-10PM 
- Food Court 5PM-9PM

SATURDAY - AUGUST 24th 
- Half Marathon and 5K at 7am.  Registration at 112 East Edgewater.
- Walking Tour of Downtown 10AM - Meet at the Chamber office (104 W. Cook St.)
- Food Court 10AM-5PM (at Market Square)
- Beer Tent 10AM-5PM (at Market Square)

LIVE MUSIC at Market Square Lot  
Hirt Alpert 11AM-1PM
Swing Crew 2PM-5PM

LIVE MUSIC at Cook and Dewitt Street

CAR SHOW on COOK ST. (All Make/All Models/All Years) 10AM-3PM
Check-in begins at 8am.  Enter the show at the corner of Adams Street and Cook Street.  $10 show registration at the gate.

Held along DeWitt Street

KID'S ACTIVITIES 11AM-3PM
Held at the corner of Cook and Marachowsky Place near Market Square
- Funny Faces Balloon Sculpting & Face Painting  
- Inflatable Bouncy House & Slide
- St. John's Child Development Center Kid's Creation Station

PETTING ZOO WITH CATTAIL CRITTERS
- Noon to 2pm in the grassy area at the corner of Cook and DeWitt Street

SUMMER SIDEWALK SALES & ACTIVITES  11AM
Many of our shops in the downtown area will be having summer sidewalk sales.  Stop out and find those great deals.  

- Art Connects exhibit at Portage Center for the Arts will be open Saturday from 10am-3pm and tickets for Alice in Wonderland can be purchased for the show Saturday night at 7pm.
- Stop inside at the Mercantile for sales and artist demonstrations starting at 11am on Saturday August 24!
- Uptown Exchange will be having sidewalk sales and in house sales both the 23rd and the 24th.  There will be a basket give away on the 24th as well as free face painting from 12-4pm in front of the shop. 
- 10% off sale at Reptile Rescue on Aug 24
- Fancy Pants and Smart Woman will have many sales on clothing and more on Aug 24.  
- Wilz Hometown Pharmacy will have sales up to 50% on select items on Aug 23 &24.
